Mohamed Salah Extends Regret to Teammates, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Salah expressed regret to the team after the controversy from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a European match following voicing frustrations and stating his connection to the head coach had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has previously declined to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the player.

Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
He also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “I get that there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the games following the situation. He feels the outburst were not designed to harm the team.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and starting to win games.”
